2. Product quality

At Studio Loe, we take great care in restoring our furniture to a high standard, while respecting the unique character of each piece. However, as with all vintage items, signs of previous use may still be visible — these marks are part of the story and charm of the item. We do our best to show these clearly in the photos provided online.

Please note that we sell second-hand furniture, which means that items are not in new condition. Also, the colour of a piece may appear slightly different on screen than in real life. You are always welcome to view the item in person at our warehouse in Putte (2580) by appointment. Need more photos or close-ups of specific details? Don’t hesitate to ask — we’re happy to provide them.

3. Purchase, Pickup/Delivery

Have you fallen in love with a piece from our collection? You can place an order quickly, easily and safely through our website. Simply fill out the contact form located at the bottom of each item. Please indicate whether you would like to pick up the item yourself or have it delivered. If you choose delivery, also provide the destination details (country and postal code). We will contact you shortly to arrange pickup or send you a personalized quote including the delivery costs.

Furniture can only be reserved after the customer has provided written confirmation that they wish to proceed with the purchase and after an invoice has been issued by Studio Loe Vintage.

Please note that some items attract significant interest. Therefore, they may be sold to the first customer with whom a written agreement has been concluded between both parties.

Below is a brief overview of the procedure for both pickup and delivery:

 3.1  Pickup at our warehouse

If you choose to pick up the item yourself, you're welcome by appointment after we've received your payment. Payment is required within 7 calendar days of the invoice date. If we do not receive your payment within 7 calendar days of the invoice date, we will send you a free payment reminder, after which you will have 14 days to complete the payment. If payment is still not received after this period, Studio Loe Vintage reserves the right to charge interest in accordance with the statutory rates in effect at that time and to offer the item for sale to other customers.

You have up to 21 calendar days starting from the invoice date to collect your purchase. If the item is not picked up within this period, storage fees will be charged: €50/month for items under 1m³ and €100/month for larger items, unless otherwise agreed.

Once the furniture leaves our warehouse, the risk passes to the customer. Studio Loe Vintage is not liable for any damage to the furniture or its surroundings that occurs afterwards as a result of use or transport.

 3.2  Delivery

If you choose delivery, we will first send you a quote with the delivery cost and estimated delivery time. This way, there are no surprises. 

After we have received your confirmation and we have not yet entered into an agreement with another buyer, we’ll issue an invoice for the total amount (purchase price + delivery). Payment must be completed within 7 calendar days. Items will only be shipped or delivered after full payment is received. If payment is not received within 7 calendar days, we will send you a free payment reminder, after which you will have 14 days to complete the payment. If payment is still not received after this period, Studio Loe Vintage reserves the right to charge interest in accordance with the statutory rates in effect at that time and to offer the item for sale to other customers.

In Belgium, we try to handle deliveries ourselves or work with the reliable courier Brenger. For international shipments, we work with trusted partners such as Magic Movers. Delivery costs depend on the size and distance of the shipment.

If we handle the delivery ourselves, we will aim to complete it within 14 calendar days. Please note that this may vary due to force majeure or during holiday periods. For deliveries via a courier service, we will always communicate the estimated delivery date provided by the courier. In rare cases, this date may change, but we will keep you informed whenever possible if we become aware of any changes.

Deliveries are made up to the first door on the ground floor ( Curbside delivery).

Couriers usually work alone, so it is necessary that someone is present to assist with unloading and carrying the furniture up to the first door on the ground floor. If this is not possible, it must be indicated at the time of delivery request, as it may affect the delivery costs.

The customer is always responsible for assessing the furniture’s dimensions and its maneuverability within their premises. If it turns out that the furniture cannot pass through the intended openings, Studio Loe Vintage is not obliged to take the furniture back, and it remains at the customer’s responsibility. Studio Loe Vintage is not liable for any damage that may occur as a result of the delivery of the furniture.

If you notice any damage to the furniture after delivery, you have 48 hours to report it to Studio Loe. Please take detailed photos of the damage and email them to info@studioloe.be. We will contact you promptly with an appropriate solution.

Please note the following important conditions:

- We only accept claims for damage that occurred during transport by ourself or our delivery partners.
- Damage that occurred after self-pickup by the customer cannot be claimed.
- Any damage clearly caused by handling, placing, or using the furniture after delivery will not be accepted as part of a valid claim.

4. Price

All our prices are listed in EUR, and we accept payments only in EUR. Prices shown on the website do not include packaging or delivery costs — these are calculated separately. Since we sell second-hand goods, we operate under the VAT margin scheme. This means all prices include VAT, but VAT is not itemised separately on invoices.

 5. Return Policy: Right of Whitdrawal ( Distance sales only)

For distance sales, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 calendar days after receipt of the furniture. Distance sales are sales made online without the customer having had the opportunity to view the furniture in person beforehand.

The right of withdrawal does not apply if:

- the furniture was physically inspected before purchase in the warehouse or showroom;

- the furniture has been customized;

- the furniture is, by its nature, unsuitable for return.

In case of a valid withdrawal, only the purchase price of the furniture will be refunded. Delivery, transport, and logistics costs are not refundable, except for the cheapest standard delivery option offered by Studio Loe Vintage, if required by law. If the consumer has chosen a more expensive or non-standard delivery method, these additional costs will never be refunded.

Costs for returning the furniture are always the responsibility of the consumer. The furniture must be returned to our storage facility. Returns are only possible by appointment. Any reduction in value due to use, assembly, damage, or improper handling may be deducted.

Withdrawal from the purchase must be notified to us by email within 14 calendar days of receiving the furniture. The customer must indicate which item the withdrawal concerns and state that they wish to cancel the agreement. Additionally, the invoice date and the date of receipt must be provided.

At least two photos showing the condition of the furniture at the time of withdrawal must also be included. Furniture will only be accepted for return if it is in the same condition as at the time of purchase. If the customer causes damage to the furniture or uses it beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics, and functioning, any resulting reduction in value will be deducted from the refund.

 6. Privacy

We value your privacy. Your personal data is used only to process your order and improve our service. We never share your information with third parties, unless required by law or necessary for administrative purposes. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
